About me
I’m Megane, a counsellor and Human Design practitioner, supporting people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or at a turning point in their lives — often after burnout, prolonged exhaustion, or periods of deep questioning.
I offer a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s been happening for you, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe, grounded, and respectful of your pace.
My journey
My path into this work is deeply personal.
I’ve experienced burnout myself — the kind where you keep going, disconnect from your body, and slowly lose touch with what truly matters.
In that period, I felt exhausted, confused, and unsure of how to move forward.
Human Design became a powerful turning point in my recovery.
It gave me language for what I was experiencing, permission to stop forcing myself into patterns that weren’t aligned, and a deeper understanding of how my energy actually works.
From there, my healing journey naturally expanded into counselling, trauma-informed support, and family systems approaches — so I could support others not just intellectually, but emotionally and sustainably.
This lived experience deeply shapes the way I work today.
How I work
My approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded.
I don’t believe in fixing people or pushing them to change before they’re ready.
Instead, I support you in understanding yourself more deeply, processing what needs to be felt, and creating space for clarity to emerge naturally.
Depending on your needs, I draw on:
counselling tools
family systems perspectives
grief- and loss-informed approaches
Human Design insights for self-understanding and alignment
Sessions are a space where you are met as a whole person — without judgement, pressure, or expectations.
Qualifications & training
I am trained and certified in:
Diploma of Counselling
ASM Family Therapy
ASM Grief & Loss
ASM Addictions
Certified Human Design Practitioner
I continue to engage in ongoing learning and supervision to ensure my work remains ethical, informed, and client-centred.
Experience & impact
Over the years, I’ve supported many individuals through periods of burnout, emotional overwhelm, identity shifts, and life transitions.
Each journey is unique, but a common thread is the desire to reconnect with oneself, regain clarity, and move forward with more confidence and self-trust.
I consider it a privilege to accompany people through these meaningful and often vulnerable moments of change.
